How Do You Capture the Genius of Your People

RAMBAM - An Organizational Approach to Learning

How do you make learning stick? We have created a unique approach to create a strategy of learning called the RAMBAM method. RAMBAM stands for:

Rewards. Support for new behaviors and application of the learning is facilitated in the environment by creating rewards for application of the new knowledge. People respond to what they are either rewarded or punished for doing.

Action. The learning should tie-into something that is immediately relevant to the learner so that they can apply it.

Measured. What is the impact of the learning to both the learner and the organization? How will we know what we have achieved? By creating metrics, we can understand the impact of the learning in the organization. We value what we measure!

Blended. Formal (classroom) and informal (coaching and mentoring), facilitator-led and e-lerning strategies when integrated ensure that the learner will be able to apply what they have learned.

Accountable. Learners have to be held accountable for their learning.

Motivated. How many psychiatrists does it take to screw in a light bulb? The answer is one, but the lightbulb has to want to change. It is the same with learners - they have to want to apply what they have learned.
